When I started working in the photography field, I never expected or even wanted to shoot weddings. I think it was the fear of the unknown for me, and then sure enough one day, a friend asked me to help him shoot a wedding. It was during
the 2 years of working as a second photographer when I learned the beauty of weddings. I became friends with clients, I met tons of amazing people, and I realized it is a day full of emotions ranging from stress, to tears, to joy!! I saw what a wedding day was like from another side, one that most people don’t get to see. When friends ask me to shoot their weddings they are always sure to
say “Rob, we want you to be a guest too.” I reassure them that as a photographer, you are more a part of the wedding than any guest…well with some exceptions :).
So here I am now 2 years later, with my own company, capturing all those candid, joyful expressions, and even the mishaps that come with the chaos of a wedding day!! In terms of shooting style, you won’t even know I’m there, unless I’m making you laugh!!
